The Forum commiserated with the NGF Vice Chairman Governor Seyi Makinde, the families of the victims, and the people of Oyo state.
The condolence message was contained in a statement by the Forum signed by its Chairman, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on Friday in Ilorin.
“We join in this national mourning and our hearts are with everyone concerned especially so as the festive season begins! We join Mr. President to call for the immediate probe of the stampede to forestall the reoccurrence of such sad incidents in any part of the country.
“We pray that God give solace to the bereaved families and rest the souls of the little children that we lost in the incident.” it stated.
It would be recalled that 35 minors have been confirmed dead by the police.
Also, the police had arrested the organisers including the ex-wife of the Ooni of Ife, Olori Naomi.
