Singer J Martins announces passing of mother

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer J Martins has announced the passing of his beloved mother.
The entertainer, who currently serves as the Special Adviser on Tourism and Entertainment to Governor Alex Otti of Abia State, made the announcement on Sunday evening, March 9, 2025.
In a brief statement, Martins wrote, “Oh, give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, and His mercy endures forever. The Lord gave, the Lord has taken; blessed be the name of the Lord. Amen. My mother has gone home in the early hours of today. Please keep me and my siblings in your prayers. Thank you.”
The singer-turned-politician did not provide further details, as he is mourning his mother’s passing alongside his siblings and family.
