Jandor, Tinubu’s daughter meet in Mecca

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Olajide Adediran popularly known as Jandor, on Monday met with Chief Mrs Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Tinubu, in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

A statement issued on Monday by Jandor’s Spokesman, Gbenga Ogunleye, said the meeting took place in the sacred city and provided an opportunity for both leaders to exchange pleasantries and discuss matters of mutual interest.

“Dr. Adediran expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and extended prayers for the success of the renewed hope agenda of the president.

“The encounter underscores the shared commitment to fostering harmony and collective advancement”, Ogunleye added.

Jandor contested in the 2023 Lagos governorship election under the platform of the PDP but lost to the APC candidate, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Few weeks ago, he dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the governing APC, citing indiscipline, anti-party activities by the leadership of the party in Lagos.
