Jonathan in Kenya to monitor presidential election

Nigeria’s former President, Goodluck Jonathan is in Nairobi on election observation mission .
The former President who is in Kenya on the platform of Election Observation Mission of the Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA), in his Facebook post wished the people of the largest economy in East Africa a successful election.
He had earlier met with former President of Tanzania, Jakaya Kikwete who is in Kenya too on election mission.
Jonathan wrote:
“We set out at dawn as members of the Election Observation Mission of the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA) to observe voting procedures in some polling stations in Nairobi, Kenya.
“As the good people of Kenya come out today to cast their ballots across the country, we look forward to a peaceful outcome and the strengthening of democracy in the Republic of Kenya.”
