Kaduna governor reshuffles cabinet, swaps two commissioners
Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle involving two key members of his administration, aimed at enhancing government efficiency and service delivery.
According to a statement issued on Monday by Ibraheem Musa, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, the reshuffle sees Barrister Sule Shuaibu (SAN), the former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, appointed as the new Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs.
In turn, Barrister James Kanyip (PhD), who previously held the internal security portfolio, now takes over as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.
Governor Sani urged both officials to bring their wealth of experience and professionalism to their new roles. He emphasized the need for fairness, integrity, and total commitment in discharging their duties.
The governor also offered prayers for God’s guidance and protection as they undertake their new responsibilities.
