Kwara TESCOM opens application portal for teaching jobs from Feb. 5-14

The Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has released the application link for its teaching job openings.
Interested and qualified individuals can apply through: http://tescom.kwarastate.gov.ng.
The portal goes live at 12:00 midnight on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, and closes on February 14, 2025.
In a statement issued on Tuesday in Ilorin, TESCOM Chairman Mallam Bello Abubakar advised applicants to carefully read the guidelines provided on the portal.
“All applicants are advised to read the press statement initially issued on the recruitment process. The statement is available on the portal for ease of reference,” the statement read.
“For clarity, persons without a university degree in relevant subject areas should not apply. Holders of NCE who do not have a university degree should also not apply.”
The statement added that applicants who meet the initial recruitment criteria will be invited for a computer-based test (CBT) at a center closest to their local government of residence.
Applicants who pass the CBT will proceed to the interview stage, and successful candidates will undergo drug tests at approved NDLEA centers, along with other verification exercises before receiving employment letters.
“For the record, this process will strongly balance qualification, competence, employability, and availability to work in the hinterlands and rural areas where teachers are most needed,” it added.
