KWASUTH to conduct mass burial for unclaimed dead bodies

The Management of  Kwara State University Teaching Hospital (KWASUTH), Ilorin, has urged the general public to come and retrieve the bodies of their relatives and loved ones within the next two weeks from the time of this announcement, after which the Management will consider decongestion through mass burial.

The management announced to the general public that its Mortuary is filled beyond capacity with no available space due to unclaimed bodies.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Head, Corporate Affairs Unit, KWASUTH,Yakub Aliagan in Ilorin on Sunday.

In a statement titled “Decongestion of the mortuary at Kwara State University Teaching Hospital, Ilorin”

“The Management, therefore, implored the general public to come and retrieve the bodies of their relatives and loved ones within the next two weeks from the time of this announcement, after which the Management will consider decongestion through mass burial” it stated.
