KWSUBEB sets date, guidelines, for teachers’ recruitment exercise across LGAs

The Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) has announced that all applicants for its community-based recruitment exercise are required to report to their respective Local Government Areas (LGAs) on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 9 a.m. prompt.

This announcement was contained in a statement issued by the Board on Sunday in Ilorin.

According to the statement, applicants must bring the following documents to the recruitment exercise:

  • Original credentials (only NCE and B.Ed. applicants)
  • Photocopies of credentials
  • Two recent passport photographs with a red background
  • Evidence of registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN)

In addition, applicants are required to provide their bio-data, typed clearly in 16-point font on a sheet of paper, including:

  • Surname
  • Other names
  • Date of Birth
  • Local Government Area of Origin
  • Residential Address
  • Phone Number
  • Teaching Subject
  • Signature

The statement further instructed applicants to adhere strictly to these requirements, while emphasizing the following points:

  1. Applicants must appear only in their LGA of origin.
  2. There is no online registration for this community-based recruitment exercise.

“Applicants are urged to follow these guidelines carefully to ensure a smooth recruitment process,” it concluded.
