Lady commits suicide, jumps off boat in Lagos

A lady identified as Nimotalahi Ishola has died, after allegedly jumping off a boat in transit in Lagos .

Police sources have revealed Ishola had boarded the boat from Isuti jet in Igando, alongside eleven other passengers heading to Totowu in Ogun state.

Rendering an eyewitness account, the captain of the boat, revealed that Ishola had taken off her life jacket and jumped into the river, while in the middle of the journey.

Items found in her bag include a bottle of an insecticide, an Alimosho General Hospital patient’s card and some drugs.

The tragedy was immediately reported to the police as efforts began to recover her body.
