Lagos Is In Support Of Local Government Autonomy -Sanwo-Olu

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday said Lagos State government has always been in support of local government autonomy.
The governor also praised the National Assembly for passing the bill which will give autonomy to the third tier of government across Nigeria.
Sanwo-Olu stated this when he commissioned the Rafiu Olufunmi Ultra Modern Market in Sangotedo.
The governor said his administration would soon complete the regional road which will decongest traffic in Lekki axis, noting that his administration will build the biggest BRT terminal in Ajah.
Sanwo-Olu said: “In Lagos, we believe in local government autonomy. They have been prudent with resources.
“In Lagos State we will continue to use the local government to drive the economy.”
Sanwo-Olu further said that transportation is an important component of any society, saying that boat ferry is coming to Badore Jetty.
The governor urged Lagosians to get their voters card so they can cast their votes in the next election.
