Lagos Neighborhood Safety inducts new recruits

The Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency has inducted the newly recruited personnel of the Corps.
The induction ceremony was held simultaneously at the five Divisional commands of Lagos State anchored by the Administration and Human resources department in conjunction with the operations department.
At the Ikeja Division, the General Manager, Prince Dr Ifalade Oyekan FSIN who was represented by Mr. Francis Okhueya, the Director of operations welcomed the new recruits into the fold of the Agency.
The General Manager said the Agency takes pride in discipline, integrity and diligence and warned them against complacency.

Ifalade said the vision of the Governor is to create an organization that can function appropriately as the State Police when the Federal approval is given.
In his words, “we are preparing this Corp to take over from the Federal Police when the bill for the creation of State Police becomes law and we will leave no stone unturned in the process”.
Oyekan warned the newly inducted personnel to always remember that there is no room for laxity in the business of security and that the Agency will not allow for any form of redundancy.
The new personnel were taken through the rudiments of the Agency’s objectives before the administration of the mandatory oath and were taken through some Military drill to kick-start their training.
