LASG takes growth mindset advocacy programme to LG officials

The Lagos state government through the Office of Transformation, Creativity, and Innovation (OTCI) has launched an impactful advocacy programme aimed at promoting a growth mindset among officers in Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).

The event was held at the Ikeja Local Government Conference Hall, highlighting the significance of creativity and innovation as foundational values in public service.

Director-General of OTCI, Mrs. Toyin Anjous-Ademuyiwa said the initiative seeks to empower local officers to adopt a growth mindset, vital for fostering a culture of creativity and innovation within their councils, emphasising that through the programme, OTCI aims to enhance service delivery and improve responsiveness to the community’s needs.

Anjous-Ademuyiwa stated “The importance of embracing a growth mindset in our LGAs and LCDAs cannot be overstated. This program is a crucial step in equipping our officers with the mindset and skills necessary to drive positive change at the grassroots level”.

The Director-General maintained that OTCI was eager to witness the transformative effects of the advocacy programme as it continues to promote a culture of creativity and innovation throughout Local Governments and Local Council Development Areas in Lagos.
