Lizzy Anjorin claims superiority over Tope Alabi in holiness, Impact

Controversial Nigerian actress Lizzy Anjorin has claimed that she is holier than popular gospel musician Tope Alabi.

Anjorin made the statement while reacting to Alabi’s refusal to perform at her birthday celebration.

In a post on her Instagram page, the actress criticised the surprise organisers and insisted she is holier than the gospel singer.

She also claimed she didn’t need Tope Alabi at her birthday, stating that the best of Alabi’s songs are in her album and can easily be played at home.

“Aunty Tope, I love you but I do not need you. If I had invited her myself, I wouldn’t have paid a dime.

“I’m holier than you, aunty mi Tope. If we are to ask about your impact in society, I have impacted more lives than you. I’m holier than you. I have done more good than you did, and I am pure. If you judge me because of my court cases, I am thankful that God did not judge me,” Anjorin said.

Tope Alabi, who was reportedly paid to surprise an undisclosed celebrant, refused to perform after discovering that Anjorin was the celebrant.

The surprise birthday celebration took an unexpected turn when Tope and her husband, Soji Alabi, who also doubles as her manager, refused to come out of their car upon arrival at the venue.
