Makinde pays condolence visit to Ajimobi’s wife over daughter’s passing

Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on Tuesday paid a condolence visit to Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, wife of the late former governor of the state, over the passing of her first daughter, Mrs. Abisola Kola-Daisi.

Recall that Abisola Kola-Daisi, the eldest child of the late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi, died at the age of 42 on March 27, 2025.

Makinde, who visited the former First Lady at her residence in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, to commiserate with her, expressed deep sadness over Abisola’s demise.

The governor also prayed for comfort for all those she left behind.

“Last night, we paid a condolence visit to Her Excellency, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, over the passing of her beloved first daughter, Mrs. Abisola Kola-Daisi.

“May her soul rest in peace, and may God continue to comfort all those she left behind to mourn her painful exit,” he wrote on his official social media handles.
