Man arrested in Enugu for cutting off wife’s wrist with cutlass
Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command, have arrested Sunday Echege, a 33-year-old man from Ibagwa-Agu Farm Settlement in Ibagwa-Ani community, Nsukka LGA, for cutting off the left wrist of his wife, Chinonso Echege.
The Spokesperson of the command, SP Daniel Ndukwe, confirmed the incident.
According to the police, Echege admitted committing the crime. The suspect said he attacked his wife over suspicions she was having an affair with another man.
The suspect will be arraigned in court on completion of investigations.
