Manchester United has reportedly submitted a €100 million bid for Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.
The Atalanta star is also attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), which has made a similar offer, setting up a competitive race for the 27-year-old’s signature.
Lookman has been a standout performer in Serie A this season, showcasing his exceptional pace, agility, and attacking versatility.
Renowned for his ability to score goals and create opportunities, he has established himself as one of the league’s most complete forwards, capable of excelling in multiple attacking roles.
The winger rose to prominence last season after his remarkable performances helped Atalanta qualify for the Europa League final, where he scored a memorable hat-trick in their 3-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen, securing the club’s first-ever European trophy.
PSG, under the guidance of coach Luis Enrique, views Lookman as a vital addition to their attacking lineup, aiming to maintain their dominance in Ligue 1 while pushing for European success.
Similarly, Manchester United, now led by new manager Ruben Amorim, sees Lookman as a key figure in their squad overhaul. His dynamic and versatile playing style aligns with United’s ambitions to reestablish themselves among Europe’s elite.
Although Atalanta values Lookman’s contributions, the club is reportedly open to his sale.
The potential transfer fee would provide a substantial financial boost, enabling Atalanta to strengthen other areas of their squad while continuing their tradition of nurturing young talent.
