Media executive Babaeko defends Burna Boy, calls for national support

Media executive and founder of X3M Music, Steve Babaeko, has urged Nigerians not to join the world in cancelling Grammy winner Burna Boy.

Babaeko made this known on Friday, November 28, during his presentation at the 2025 NECLive in Lagos.

The X3M boss reiterated that although no one is a saint, Burna Boy should be regarded as one of Nigeria’s talents making the country proud.

“I know what is going on, but I am here to say nobody is perfect. Burna is one of our own, and we should never, ever join anyone or the world to cancel Burna.”
