Mother of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome reportedly dies at 88

Deaconess Angel Oyakhilome, mother of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, popularly known as Christ Embassy, has reportedly died at the age of 88.

Church Gist announced her death on Friday via its X handle, paying tribute to the late matriarch.

Reports indicate that Deaconess Oyakhilome was 88 at the time of her death.

Among her children were Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Rev. Ken Oyakhilome and Kathy Woghiren.

Deaconess Oyakhilome was widely known within the ministry and was celebrated over the years for her role and contributions to the growth of the church.

In 2022, LoveWorld News reported that she received a special commendation during the ministry’s Presidential Awards for her “immense contributions” to the expansion of LoveWorld Nation.
