Mourinho linked with Nottingham Forest following Fenerbahçe exit

By Tosin Omojola –
Former Chelsea and Manchester United manager, José Mourinho, has been linked with a potential return to the English Premier League, less than 24 hours after leaving Turkish side Fenerbahçe.
Mourinho’s departure followed the club’s elimination from the UEFA Champions League playoff stage. Despite guiding Fenerbahçe to a second-place finish in the Turkish Super Lig last season, the team was unable to progress after a 1-0 aggregate defeat to Benfica, bringing his tenure to an end.
The Portuguese tactician, popularly known as the “Special One,” has enjoyed a highly successful career in England, winning three Premier League titles during his two stints with Chelsea.
Reports indicate that Nottingham Forest is considering Mourinho as a managerial option, amid growing speculation about his swift return to English football.
Mourinho’s most recent trophy came with Italian side AS Roma, where he secured the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League title three years ago. His potential re-entry into the Premier League is expected to generate significant attention, given his reputation, charisma, and track record of success.
