NABTEB extends registration deadline for technical college entrance examination
The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has extended the registration period for the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) into technical colleges across the country.
The extension was announced in a statement issued on Sunday by NABTEB’s Assistant Director of Media and Protocol, Uchechukwu Olisah.
According to the statement, the registration deadline, initially fixed for May 24, has now been shifted to May 31, 2026.
Olisah also disclosed that the examination, earlier scheduled to hold on June 6, would now take place on June 13, 2026.
He explained that the extension followed requests from prospective candidates who sought additional time to complete their registration.
Olisah stated that the extension was approved by the Registrar of NABTEB, Aminu Mohammed, through an internal memorandum signed by Chigoziem Susan Metu, Director of Examinations Administration.
The registrar urged interested candidates to take advantage of the extension period to complete their registration processes.
Mohammed also encouraged students interested in entrepreneurship and technical education to register for NABTEB examinations.
