New Oluyole LG boss will help triple Tinubu’s votes in 2027 – Olaosebikan
A senior party chieftain, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan, has said that the election of Prince Dotun Oladipupo as the new chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State would help the local government fulfil its pledge to triple votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election.
Olaosebikan, a former council chairman in Oluyole, made the statement shortly after the successful conclusion of the APC local government congress held at Olomi Primary School on Saturday.
He commended the party for electing a chairman who combines competence with proven leadership skills, noting that Prince Oladipupo’s emergence would strengthen the party’s performance at the grassroots level.
Olaosebikan added that the pledge to triple Oluyole’s votes for President Tinubu would now be more achievable, describing the new chairman as “a seasoned politician, a thoroughbred party man, an excellent team player, and a man of the people.”
He further emphasised that Prince Oladipupo possesses the capacity to lead the party effectively and significantly enhance its performance, particularly during the 2027 elections.
Olaosebikan also expressed gratitude to all APC leaders and members in the local government for their support and commitment, which ensured the election of capable and dedicated party executives.
The newly elected executives include Alhaji Mumeen Oriade as Secretary, Kikelomo Akinleye as Woman Leader, Tunde Garuba as Youth Leader, and Saheed Akilapa as Publicity Secretary, among others.
