The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has initiated efforts to collaborate with Nigeria’s mini-football team, aiming to establish a strategic partnership that will mutually benefit both entities.
This initiative aligns with the NFF’s broader commitment to advancing football development and governance across Nigeria.
On Friday, representatives of the mini-football team visited the NFF headquarters in Abuja, where they met with the General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi (MON).
During the meeting, Dr. Sanusi emphasized the importance of professionalism within the federation and reiterated the need for the NFF’s operations to comply with the regulations set by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
He also clarified the NFF’s primary role in overseeing and regulating football activities in Nigeria, stressing that all football-related events must receive proper approvals and sanctions from the federation. Dr. Sanusi underscored the necessity of adhering to FIFA and CAF standards to maintain global best practices in football governance.
The mini-football team delegation included Alhaji Umah Yusuf Datti, Ambassador Paul Chukwudi Maduakor, Chief Agu Chukwuemelie Lambert, Ambassador Sheriff Mulade, and Fabian Edaba.
