NIPR celebrates Information Minister Idris at 60, hails excellence in public communication

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has congratulated the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, on his 60th birthday, describing him as a symbol of professionalism and excellence in public communication.
In a statement on Saturday, signed by its president and chairman of council, Dr. Ike Neliaku, the institute noted that Idris exemplifies the core values of public relations and serves as a role model for younger professionals in the field.
The NIPR noted that the minister’s rise to becoming the nation’s spokesperson reflects determination, preparation and a strong commitment to service, adding that he has made significant impact in his current role.
“As a proud fellow of our great institute, the honourable minister has tenaciously upheld the standards and ethics of the public relations profession, standing today as a shining example of responsible communication,” the statement read.
The institute commended Idris for his diligence and professionalism since assuming office, stating that his calm disposition and competence in managing public communication have added value to the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It also praised his courage and capacity in applying the principles of public relations, particularly during challenging periods.
While celebrating the minister, the NIPR prayed for continued wisdom and grace for him to sustain professionalism and excellence in service.
