Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola sets eyes on House of Representatives, picks nomination form
Nollywood actress and politician, Foluke Daramola-Salako, has declared her intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency I under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
She presented her expression of interest and nomination forms to the party leadership at the APC secretariat in Oshodi on Saturday.
Addressing party leaders, including the APC Chairman, Saheed Animashaun, and ward executives, she expressed confidence in her chances.
“I am not just here to present my forms, but to assure you of my deep commitment and passion for the success of this aspiration,” she said.
Daramola-Salako highlighted her experience in public service and pledged to deliver effective, people-centred representation if elected.
She also emphasised her position as the only female aspirant, expressing optimism and promising to prioritise grassroots development.
In his remarks, Animashaun commended her courage and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to inclusivity, as she continues consultations ahead of the primaries.
