Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh unveils new ministry in Abuja

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has launched a ministry, New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), an interdenominational Christian fellowship based in Abuja.

The actress made the announcement in an Instagram post on Monday, describing it as an “interdenominational altar, spiritual home, and global movement of consecrated believers”.

According to the actress-turned-minister, the fellowship was established as a platform for prayer, revival, spiritual growth and encounters with what she described as the “raw power, purity, and presence of God”.

The movement is premised on Mark 2:22, which states that “no one puts new wine into old wineskins”.

The fellowship also outlined four core values under the acronym FIRE: Flame of Intercession, Intimacy and Consecration, Revival and Soul Winning, and Empowerment through Deliverance and Healing.

The announcement was followed by a video shared on Tonto’s official Instagram page, showing her fervently praying with a congregation.

The organisation clarified that it is “not a church” but “an intense gathering” of believers committed to fulfilling the purposes of God. In its welcome message, NWPT urged members to build their lives around prayer, connect with the fellowship and pursue “the secret place”.

The launch comes months after Tonto publicly shared details of her Christian faith journey and personal transformation.
