Nollywood couple Adedimeji Lateef, Mo Bimpe celebrate triplets’ thanksgiving

Nollywood couple Adedimeji Lateef and his wife, Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, celebrated their triplets’ thanksgiving on Wednesday, surrounded by family members, well-wishers and colleagues.
The star-studded ceremony came months after the couple welcomed their triplet boys in May 2026. They announced the arrival of the babies in an emotional Instagram post that attracted congratulatory messages from fans and other figures in the Nigerian film industry.
The couple, who got married in December 2021, later held a private Islamic naming ceremony at their residence in Lekki, Lagos, attended by close family members and friends. The boys were named Rahman, Raheem and Rakeeb.
The actors have continued to share glimpses of their journey into parenthood following years of waiting, amid online speculation about their marriage and questions about when they would have children.
Mo Bimpe described motherhood as a journey “from waiting to wonder, from tears to thanksgiving,” while Adedimeji, in a reflective social media post, spoke about the mockery and stigma the couple endured before the arrival of their triplets.
“They spoke, Allah answered. The mockery. The lies. The stigma. The assumptions. The things said behind our backs and sometimes, right to our faces. There was a time when the whispers were louder than our prayers,” Adedimeji wrote.
He said he and his wife had several opportunities to confront their critics but chose to rely on their faith, describing the arrival of their three sons as an answer to years of private prayers.
Adedimeji also praised Mo Bimpe for remaining strong throughout their difficult journey, saying their experience had taught him that not every rumour or insult deserved a response. He added, “I just want to say ALHAMDULILLAH. Because sometimes the best response to those who counted you out is to let them watch Allah count your blessings”.
