NPFL: Niger Tornadoes beaten at home, Katsina Utd hold 3SC in Ibadan

Abia Warriors on Sunday shocked hosts Niger Tornadoes 2-1 in a Matchday 11 clash played at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna.
The visitors, who took a 2-0 lead into the break before the hosts pulled one back later in the second half, stood their ground as they held on to record the only away victory of the week.
At the Lekan Salami Stadium, Katsina United shot to an early lead before the Ibadan soccer lords fought to level up minutes after the visitors scored the opener.
Both sides could not find a breakthrough throughout the second half, thus ensuring a share of the spoils.
In Maiduguri, Rangers International refused to surrender all points as they forced hosts El-Kanemi Warriors to a goalless draw, just as Barau FC were held at home by visiting Wikki Tourists of Bauchi.
Enyimba FC returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over bottom-placed Kano Pillars, Ikorodu City continued their fine form of late with a 2-0 victory over Kun Khalifat of Owerri, while Rivers United beat table-toppers Nasarawa United 1-0.
Earlier in the day, Bayelsa United pipped Plateau United 2-1 at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.
On Saturday, defending champions Remo Stars lost 1-3 to Kwara United in Ilorin, while Bendel Insurance played out a 1-1 draw with Warri Wolves in Benin.
