NYSC releases call-up letters for 2026 batch A stream 1 corps members
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released deployment details for the 2026 Batch A Stream 1 prospective corps members, confirming that call-up letters are now available.
The scheme announced this on Monday via its official X handle, noting that some prospective corps members deployed to Lagos State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will undergo their orientation programmes in neighbouring states.
According to the NYSC, prospective corps members posted to Lagos will attend orientation camps in Ekiti, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun and Osun states, while those deployed to the FCT will be camped in Kaduna, Niger and Nasarawa states.

The scheme explained that the arrangement became necessary due to limited camp capacity, stating that only about 40 per cent of registered prospective corps members can be accommodated for the upcoming orientation programme.
The NYSC also issued a travel advisory, cautioning prospective corps members against travelling at night to orientation camps.

In addition, the scheme reminded prospective corps members to complete all documentation before arrival, stressing that required forms must be printed and duly signed ahead of camp registration.
In a separate notice, the NYSC warned that prospective corps members with inconsistencies in their records would not be registered at the orientation camps.

“Prospective Corps Members with discrepancies in the Date of Graduation on their call-up letters and the date on their Statement of Results will not be registered in the Orientation Camp,” the scheme stated, advising affected individuals to resolve such issues with their Student Affairs Officers (SAOs) before reporting.
The NYSC also issued specific guidelines for married female prospective corps members. It directed those not posted to their husbands’ states of domicile to report to the nearest orientation camp for registration.
