OBITUARY: Complete Sports founder Ojeagbase dies at 71

Founder of foremost sports newspaper, Complete Sports, Sunny Ojeagbase, has died aged 71.
According to the paper, Ojeagbase died after a brief illness in Atlanta, United States of America, USA on Saturday.
The late publisher who hails from Uzebba, Iuleha in Owan West of Edo State, started Sports Souvenir weekly newspaper in 1984.
He later introduced other sports papers as pioneers into the country.
These include Complete Football magazine, Complete Football International (CFI) and International Soccer Review (ISR).
Ojeagbase further introduced Complete Sports a daily sports newspaper in Nigeria in 1995, which has continued to be published till date.
Before his foray into entrepreneurship, Ojeagbase started his career in sports journalism as a stringer at the Daily Times newspapers in the mid-1970s after he had earlier retired from the Nigerian Army.
He was later appointed sports editor of Sunday Concord newspapers at inception in 1980 and sports editor of The Guardian newspapers also at inception in 1983. He resigned from The Guardian in 1984 to pursue his dream as an entrepreneur.
Ojeagbase, a pastor, also established co-founded Success Attitude Development Centre (SADC)with his wife, Pastor (Mrs) Esther Ojeagbase in 1994.
