Odu’a Investment Company signs N10bn JV deals to drive agro-industry transformation

Odu’a Investment Company Limited has revealed its agric subsidiary, SWAgCo, has a signed a three joint venture (JV) deals worth N10 billion to drive agro-industrial transformation and food security across the south-west region.
The signing ceremony took place at its 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The signed agreements, according to a tweet by Odu’a Investment Company disclosed that a N4.6 billion Cocoa Plantation Joint Venture with Starlink Global & Ideal Limited and PETAGULS. Starting with 100 hectares in Year 1 and scaling to 1,000 hectares by Year 5, to be established at either Odu’a Agro-Industrial Hub in Oke-Ako, Ekiti State or Akunnu, Ondo State.

Also, a N5.2 billion Integrated Farming partnership with Food LockerNG for maize, soybean, sorghum, and beef production at Odu’a Agro-Industrial Hub, Imeko, Ogun State, starting with 200 hectares and to expand to 1,000 hectares.
In addition, it signed a N65 million maize production initiative and Smallholder Support Program with BATN Foundation at Odu’a Agro-Industrial Hub, Oke-Ako, Ekiti State, aimed at empowering 100 smallholder farmers with credit, inputs, training, and market access.
