Oke-Ero LG Head of Legal Department, DPM kidnapped by unknown individuals

The Head of Legal Department, Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State, Barrister Elizabeth Arinde, has reportedly been kidnapped.
Arinde was kidnapped alongside the Director of Personnel Management (DPM) of the local government area on Friday while returning to Ilorin from Oke-Ero.
This was contained in a terse message issued by the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ilorin Branch, Kosemani SMH, on Saturday in Ilorin.
“We are deeply concerned to inform you that Barrister Elizabeth Arinde, Head of the Legal Department at Oke-Ero Local Government in Kwara State, has been kidnapped.
According to reports, she was abducted alongside the DPM of the Local Government on Friday, April 25, 2025, while traveling from Oke-Ero LGA to Ilorin.”
“Her contact number is no longer reachable, and there is no information about her whereabouts yet.
We will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
Please share this information widely to aid in her rescue and pray for her safe release,” it added.
Messages sent to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, on the development were yet to be responded to as of the time of filing this report.
