Oki, Are, Balogun, 57 others make APC Lagos delegates’ list

Former factional State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, Mr Fouad Oki, Secretary of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), Alhaji Mutiu Are and immediate past State Chairman, Alhaji Tunde Balogun were part of the names on the delegates’ list of the state at the party’s National Convention scheduled to hold June 6 and 7, 2022.

Other prominent names on the list include; Alimoso All Progressives Congress (APC) Apex Leader, Abdullah Enilolobo; former Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor on Housing, Jimoh Ajao; Chairman of Odioolowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area, Rasak Ajala, former Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Prince Sesan Olanrewaju; member of the Governing Council of Lagos State University, Mr. Tolani Sule and a former commissioner in the state, Tola Kasali.

Are is believed to lead the Lagos Island delegates, while Enilolobo and Ajao are believed to lead Alimosho delegates.

Former finance commissioner in the state, Wale Edun is expected to lead Eti-Osa delegates while another former Commissioner, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya will lead Ikorodu delegates.

According to the party’s guidelines, three delegates were to be presented by each local governments existing in each state of the federation.

Lagos State with 20 local governments would be going to the Convention with 60 delegates.
