Oluremi Tinubu collapses APC women groups, targets grassroots mobilisation for 2027

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has inaugurated the APC Presidential Women Campaign Council, bringing various women support groups under one structure and charging members to mobilise voters across the 774 local government areas ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking on Monday at the inauguration in Abuja, Tinubu said the new structure would coordinate campaigns for APC candidates from the presidency to the governorship, National Assembly and state assembly elections.
“We have collapsed every other women support group into one — from Tinubu Again, Torch Bearers, etc. What you will see on the ballot box is APC. We’re here to promote APC, nothing less,” she said.

She added: “From Presidency, governorship, the National Assembly and the State Assembly, that is what we are here for.”
Tinubu said the campaign would feature six zonal mega rallies, state rallies and a grand finale in Abuja, with women leaders expected to take the mobilisation to communities across the country.
She urged the women to return to their respective states and communicate the administration’s programmes to voters, while defending President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms.
“The theme of this year’s rally, Renewed Hope Agenda 2.0: From Reforms to Prosperity, is not just a slogan. It is our reality.”
She said the administration’s reforms had led to economic stabilisation, declining inflation, growing foreign reserves, increased support for farmers and greater access to student loans through NELFUND.
“Tell everyone as you go back to your various states that you have a leader who is bold enough to take difficult decisions in the beginning. He is a leader who can be trusted to lead us into prosperity,” she said.
