Ondo Amotekun parades suspected armed robbers, kidnappers

About 19 suspects, including a 12-year old boy, his mother and an herbalist were on Thursday paraded by the Ondo State security network agency, Amotekun in Akure, the state capital.
Also paraded were two suspects, nicknamed ‘Anini’ and ‘Oyenusi’ all claimed to be from Ijare in Ifedore Local Government Area of the state.
Parading the suspects, the Amotekun Commandant, Chief Adetunji Adeleye said efforts were being made to apprehend other suspects still at large, adding that once the investigation is concluded, they will be charged to court
Among the paraded suspects were some kidnappers, said to specialized in child kidnapping in Akure and Ore axis.
Chief Adeleye advised parents to always keep watch on their kids and not hesitate to reach out to Amotekun with tip-offs to forestall breakdown of law and other in the state.
