By Boye Oyeyemi –
The Director of Media and Publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Mr Leye Igbabo, has resigned his position, accusing the party’s secretariat of deceit and gross indiscipline.
In his resignation letter addressed to the State Chairman of the party and dated September 30, 2025, Igbabo said the atmosphere within the secretariat had become hostile to effective performance.
He said, “It is disheartening to know that the Secretariat has become hostile to effective and efficient performance of my duties as the Director of Media and Publicity.
“I note with pains utter deceit, huge compromise and gross indiscipline. There is no more sincerity of purpose, and under such circumstances, I do not want to be labelled as an incompetent official.”
Igbabo added that remaining in such an environment would amount to a waste of time and energy.
He declared, “Staying in such an unproductive environment amounts to a precious waste of time and energy. I therefore resign my appointment as the Director of Media and Publicity for PDP Ondo State with immediate effect.”
