Ondo youths laud Interior Minister’s leadership, reforms

The Akoko Youth Forum, political movement in Ondo State, has applauded the Minister of Interior, Dr. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, for what it described as his outstanding reforms and youth-focused leadership.
In a statement signed by its National President, Engr. Ibukun-Oluwa James Akeju, the group said Dr. Tunji-Ojo has, within two years in office, demonstrated vision, competence, and commitment to public service that continue to inspire young people across the country.
The Forum highlighted the minister’s sweeping changes in the Ministry of Interior and its agencies, citing improvements in the Nigeria Immigration Service, modernization of the Nigerian Correctional Service, as well as increased support for the Federal Fire Service and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
“Dr. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo has shown us, the youths of Akokoland and Ondo State at large, that leadership is about impact, service, and integrity. His reforms have touched lives, restored public trust in government institutions, and given Nigerian youths a sense of pride and belonging,” the statement read.
The youth body also praised the minister for what it described as his unwavering support for Akoko youths, stressing that his open-door policy has given them a renewed sense of inclusion.
“As Akoko youths, we are deeply proud of his achievements, and we remain committed to supporting his vision for a greater Nigeria. His example challenges us all to rise above limitations, embrace responsibility, and work together for the progress of our region and nation,” the Forum added.
