TICAD 9: Bagudu reaffirms Tinubu’s determination to strengthen partnerships with Japan
Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has reaffirmed the determination of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to strengthen partnerships with Japan and other international stakeholders in advancing cooperation and development objectives.
He stated this at the ongoing 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9).
Bagudu, who participated in the second plenary session on the Nigerian economy, highlighted key reforms of the President Bola Tinubu administration aimed at stabilising the macroeconomic environment, fostering inclusive growth and strengthening private sector participation
During another high-level panel discussion on “Strengthening Finance towards Private Sector-led Economy,” he underscored Nigeria’s commitment to deepening financial reforms, mobilising sustainable investment and expanding opportunities for private enterprises to drive both national and continental development.
