The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, has paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, at his Bodija residence in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The visit comes as preparations intensify for Ladoja’s official installation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025.
He is set to succeed the late Olubadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 90.
During the meeting, both monarchs exchanged warm pleasantries and held discussions ahead of the historic coronation ceremony, which is expected to attract dignitaries from across Nigeria.
Oba Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State, has continued to receive visits from prominent traditional rulers and political leaders in the buildup to his coronation.
