Osimhen scores again as Galatasaray qualify for Turkish Cup final
Victor Osimhen’s goalscoring brilliance continued in the Turkish Cup as Galatasaray booked their ticket to the final of this year’s competition.
The Nigerian forward scored in the 23rd minute of his team’s 5-1 demolition of Konyaspor, taking his season’s tally in all competitions to 30.
Lucas Torreira, Roland Sallai (2), and Yusuf Demir scored the other goals for Okan Buruk’s team, while Pedrinho provided Konyaspor’s consolation.
Osimhen was later substituted in the 73rd minute, with Galatasaray firmly on course for a league and cup double this season.
The Turkish league leaders will now await the winners of the second semifinal between Trabzonspor and Göztepe on Thursday.
