Osinbajo, Atiku, Ooni, others storm Ibadan for Olubadan’s coronation

Ibadan was agog on Friday as His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Mohood Olalekan Ishola Balogun Alli, Okumade II, received the staff of office as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland from Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
The coronation ceremony held at the ancient Mapo Hall in Ibadan had in attendance people from all works of life
Makinde who arrived the Mapo hall in company of Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and many top government functionaries at 11:07 am was received with high ovation.
Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar; Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi lll; Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja ll; former Oyo State Governor, Senator Rashidi Ladoja; Aare Gani Adams were part of the dignitaries who graced the occasion.
Others in attendance include Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi; Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun; and deputy governors of Ondo and Osun states Lucky Aiyedatiwa and Benedict Alabi.
Former Lagos State Deputy Governor, Femi Pedro, represented All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, while ex-Ondo governor Olusegun Mimiko was also in attendance.
Activities like gun salute, eulogies, traditional prayers and enchantments were rendered by the Araba of Ibadanland.
