Osun 2026: Oyebamiji will fulfil campaign promises — Oyintiloye

By Deborah Oladejo, Osogbo –
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has expressed confidence that the party’s governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, will fulfil all campaign promises if elected.
Oyintiloye, who stated this on Thursday during a visit to the palace of the Alademure of Ibokun, Oba Festus Kayode Awogboro, reiterated the party’s commitment to delivering on its pledges, noting that meeting campaign promises is key to sustaining public trust.
According to him, the party has a track record of implementing people-oriented programmes and would continue along that path if given the mandate in the August 15 governorship election.

He expressed optimism that Oyebamiji would honour all commitments made during the campaign, adding that concerns raised by the community would be communicated to the appropriate authorities.
The former lawmaker, who represented Obokun Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly, canvassed support for the APC candidate, urging residents to vote massively for the party to enhance the chances of addressing their demands.
Oyintiloye also highlighted projects executed during his tenure, including the refurbishment of a police armoured personnel carrier, reconstruction of the Ibokun roundabout, renovation of the ancient palace, construction and rehabilitation of market stalls, and the provision of boreholes and electricity transformers, among others.
In his response, the Alademure of Ibokun, Oba Festus Awogboro, appealed for increased federal government presence in the community.
The traditional ruler urged the government to consider establishing a federal institution in Ibokun, citing the town’s consistent support for the APC at the polls.
