Osun HoR Member, Oke resigns from PDP

Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke, representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency of Osun State and Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs in the House of Representatives, has officially resigned his membership from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a letter dated April 16, 2025, and addressed to the Chairman of Ward 7, Obokun Local Government Area, Oke stated that his decision was made after due consultations with his political associates, family, and close friends.
The letter reads:
“I wish to formally notify you that I am resigning my membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with immediate effect.
“This decision was reached after consultation and engagement with my political associates, family, and friends. It is my wish that you accept my resignation in good faith.”
Copies of the letter were also forwarded to the National Chairman of the PDP, the State Chairman of the Osun State Chapter, and the Chairman of Obokun Local Government Area.
