…wishes them successful completion

The Olowo of Owo and Paramount Ruler of Owo Land, His Imperial Majesty, Alayeluwa, Oba (Dr) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, has called on Muslims to adhere strictly to the tenets associated with the Ramadan period.

Oba Ogunoye in a message of goodwill to the entire Muslim Community in Owo land, in Ondo State, signed by his Special Assistant Media, Sam Adewale, said the holy month of Ramadan was one of the five pillars of Islam and a great opportunity for Muslims to purify their minds, bodies and hearts through fasting with supplications to Almighty Allah.

The monarch reminded muslims that Ramadan was not only for fasting, self dedication and sacrifice but also to seeking forgiveness for wrongdoings from Allah even beyond the fasting period.

Oba Ogunoye who congratulated them for witnessing yet another period of fasting, prayed for a successful completion.

The Monarch equally enjoined the Muslims to remember the poor and the needy in terms of provisions during this holy period of Ramadan.
