PHOTOS: Owo monarch leads community leaders, chiefs to special prayer session

The Olowo of Owo and Paramount Ruler of Owo Land, His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, recently led Owo Local Government Traditional Rulers, Chiefs and Community Leaders to a Special Prayer session, organized by the Muslim Community at the Central Mosque in Owo.

The prayers led by the Grand Chief Imam of Owo Kingdom, Alhaji Sheik Ahmed Aladesawe, was to cleanse negative acts and bloodletting in order to put a stop to disorderliness in the kingdom, considering the recent disturbance which nearly brought the ancient community to its knees.

Amongst the prominent traditional rulers and personalities who were present for the prayer session include; the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Dr Owolabi Adelami,mni, represented by the Special Assistant-Political, Mr Ademola Taofeek Adewale, Aare Atunluse of Owo Kingdom, Chief (Dr) Rotimi Ibidapo, OON, Olupenmen of Upenmen.

Others include; Oba Ebenezer Ogumolasuyi, Asuada of Isuada, Oba Oluwafemi Adeluwoye and Olose of Ose, Oba Adegboyega Asolo and scores of Owo Chiefs led by the Ojumu of Owo, High Chief Olanrewaju Famakinwa.
