Owode Motor Spare Parts Dealers back Tinubu, Hamzat with campaign vehicle, souvenirs
The Owode Onirin Old Motor Spare Parts Dealers Association in Lagos State has endorsed the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu and the governorship ambition of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, donating campaign materials, including a branded vehicle, to support their campaigns.
The donated items include branded caps, campaign shirts, banners and posters bearing the images of Tinubu and Hamzat.
Presenting the materials at the APC Campaign Secretariat in GRA, Ikeja, on Thursday, the association’s President, Isiaka Abdullahi, said the gesture was motivated by the performance of the APC-led governments at the federal and state levels.
Abdullahi pledged to mobilise members of the association to vote for Tinubu, Hamzat and other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
He added that the association had commenced door-to-door campaigns to canvass support for the party’s candidates.
Receiving the delegation and the campaign materials, the Deputy Director-General of the PBAT/KOH Campaign Council, Rasaq Ajala, thanked the dealers for their support and highlighted the impact of Tinubu’s reforms and policies.
Ajala said the Federal Government’s investment in infrastructure would boost economic activities and development, citing the Sokoto-Badagry road and Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway projects.
On education, he commended Tinubu for introducing the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which provides financial support to eligible students in tertiary institutions.
Ajala urged the spare parts dealers to intensify their mobilisation efforts by convincing eligible voters in their communities to support Tinubu, Hamzat and other APC candidates in Lagos State.
