Owu monarch celebrates Eid al-Adha with Muslim community, calls for unity
His Royal Majesty, Oba Professor Saka Adelola Matemilola, the Oluyalo Otileta VI, has joined the Muslim community in Owu Kingdom to celebrate the 2025 Eid al-Adha, a day marked by faith, reflection, sacrifice, and gratitude.
In his goodwill message, the revered monarch extended warm wishes to all sons and daughters of Owu, praying that the enduring values of faith, love, and sacrifice continue to strengthen the unity of the people and uplift the kingdom.
“May this blessed occasion bring peace, joy, and abundant blessings to every home,” Kabiyesi said.
The Oluyalo Otileta VI also urged the faithful to reflect on the deeper meaning of Eid and to foster harmony and compassion in their communities.
“Eid Mubarak from all of us at the Owu Kingdom!” the royal message concluded.
