The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly called AMBO, has congratulated the newly elected National Executive Council of the ruling party.

Oyebamiji specifically expressed heartfelt congratulations to the APC national chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, the national secretary, Senator Ajibola Surajudeen Basiru, and other officials on their re-election, describing it as a mandate to continue their service to the party and the nation.

The APC had on Friday held its national convention, where members of the National Working Committee emerged for various positions.

Oyebamiji, in a statement personally signed and issued on Saturday, expressed confidence in the capacity of the party’s national working committee to take the APC to enviable heights.

He described the re-election of Senator Basiru as the party’s national scribe as a welcome development and evidence of quality service delivery and transformative leadership.

He added that the development is a blessing not only for Osun, his state of origin, but also for the entire South-West and Southern Nigeria.

“I am very elated at the successful completion of our party’s national convention in Abuja, where the leadership emerged seamlessly. The re-election of Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda and Senator Ajibola Surajudeen Basiru is a clear testament to their achievements, and I pray that Almighty Allah will guide them as they continue to serve the party and the country,” he said.
