Oyebamiji describes Tinubu as trailblazer at 74, greets Christians on Palm Sunday

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as a “rare phenomenon, enigmatic leader and unassuming trailblazer” whose repository of wisdom, spanning decades in the private and public sectors, has impacted positively on humanity.

Oyebamiji, in a statement personally signed and made available to journalists in Osogbo on Sunday, commended the President for building a virile, healthy and sustainable economy for Nigeria through the decisive implementation of his Renewed Hope Agenda.

He praised Tinubu’s commitment, dedication and compassion to turn around the socio-economic fortunes of the country, expressing confidence in his administrative acumen, political sagacity and wherewithal to build a stronger nation.

The APC candidate acknowledged President Tinubu’s visionary leadership, transformative service and outstanding achievements as a senator, former governor of Lagos State and now president, saying his rare virtues, avowed commitment and genuine leadership have been a source of inspiration to young and old in his political school of thought.

“I am proud to celebrate you today, our indefatigable leader, mentor and benefactor in whom we are pleased. You have been a source of inspiration to all. You have provided an enabling environment for us all to triumph, and we will continue to remain your sons and daughters as we draw from your repository of divine wisdom and knowledge,” he said.

He prayed God to continue to imbue the President with divine wisdom, sound health and longevity.

Also, Oyebamiji congratulated Christians across the state on the celebration of Palm Sunday, marking the commencement of the 2026 Holy Week.

While rejoicing with the Christian faithful for witnessing another sacred period in the Christian calendar, he commended them for their steadfastness, resilience and spirit of tolerance.
