Oyetola is God sent to Osun – Deputy Governor

Osun State Deputy Governor, Benedict Alabi, has described Governor Adegboyega Oyetola as a special intervention to the state through divine arrangement.

The deputy governor made the remarks during Sunday Service at CAC Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola Chapel, Ataoja Estate, Osogbo.

He urged the congregation to see government as a common patrimony to be jealously guarded by all.

He explained that in the absence of genuine information through credible source, misinformation becomes a dangerous weapon in the hands of mischief makers and political jobbers,  who are hell bent to deceive innocent citizens for selfish political interests.

“While we are here originally to worship with you and praise the most high and not for any political motive, it is also incumbent on us as a government to explain some basic information about our administration to you, contrary to those narratives of fifth columnists.

“You are all witnesses to how Governor Oyetola  has proved beyond any reasonable doubt that he is indeed a special intervention from our heavenly father to bring solace to the people of Osun despite limited resources accruing to the state from the centre.

“The quiet, peaceful and meticulous manner in which he coordinates the affairs of the state with enviable turn around  is a great surprise to some pessimists, hence, the desperation to change the narratives.

“Look at the recent development in our mining sector, we are now having the first Gold refinery in Africa, after so many decades of stagnation in that sector, the same for our tourism sector, which is now attracting foreign investors as well as provision of security and necessary inputs to our farmers to ensure food security.

“I can tell you authoritatively that the Governor is highly committed to the development and growth of our dear state. If you discuss anything concerning development and wellbeing of the people with him in 12am, he would send text to you again around 4am to remind you about the issue and seek for further engagement on it.

“I want to implore you to cooperate and support this government to collectively build a better future for our children,” Alabi said.
