The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, has urged members and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State to remain united in the pursuit of a common political goal by maintaining the peace, unity, and cohesion currently prevailing within the party.
Oyetola emphasized the importance of building a formidable and indivisible party, noting that the leadership has been working tirelessly to ensure victory in future elections.
Speaking at a stakeholders’ strategic meeting held on Friday at the Ilerioluwa Campaign Office in Osogbo, the former Osun State Governor stressed the need for unity, discipline, and peaceful coexistence among party members, particularly those with political ambitions.

He urged all aspirants to see one another as allies rather than rivals, adding that the main objective is to reclaim power from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)-led government in the state.
“As progressives, we must rise above internal divisions. Our mission is collective, and our strength lies in our unity. Let us not lose sight of the bigger picture—to reclaim our state and continue the legacy of development and good governance,” Oyetola stated.
He also charged the reinstated local government chairmen and councillors to conduct themselves with integrity and adhere strictly to the constitution and due process.
Oyetola further called on party leaders and stakeholders to remain loyal to the party and align with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reform-driven agenda.
The meeting was attended by Engr. Sola Akinwunmi, Chairman of the Igbimo Agba Osun (Elders’ Council); Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, Osun State APC Chairman; former Deputy Governors Chief Mrs. Grace Titilayo Laoye Ponle and Mr. Benedict Olugboyega Alabi; Chief Shuaib Oyedokun; former Speakers of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Wale Afolabi, Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello, and Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye; members of the Osun APC State Executive Committee; the Agba Osun caucus; local government party chairmen; and all reinstated local government chairmen.
